Hemp Hearts, shelled hemp seeds, are about 1/2 oil and 1/3 protein with many natural vitamins and proteins. One tablespoon equals 60 calories. There are no known allergies to hemp foods. There are only insignificant quantities of saturated fats and carbohydrates. High in omega 3 and 6.

Hemp oil with 78% polyunsaturates may be able to neutralize the negative effect of some poorer oils in a diet. this is superior to soybean oil, olive oil, canola oil and flax (linseed) oil.

Late onset health conditions such as diabetes, multiple sclerosis, celiac disease obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease is less likely with hemp hearts in the diet.
